A situation that started out as an argument over auto parts turned violent on Friday morning in Moose Jaw.
According to police it all started a little after midnight on Friday morning, with a dispute over auto parts that had been previously stolen.
Police said the accused drove to the victim’s home, and smashed the windshield of the victim’s truck. Then the victim drove to the 400 block of Grandview Street West to confront the accused.
After an argument, police said the accused grabbed a .22 rifle and fired two shots in the direction of the victim, who was in his truck. As the victim drove away, the accused allegedly shot out of the back window of the truck.
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the altercation.
The accused is a man in Moose Jaw, and neither his name, nor a court date, have been released. He will be charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000, careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm, possessing a firearm without a licence, knowing he was not a holder of a valid firearm licence while possessing it.
