Changes could be coming to bus routes on a few busy Regina streets.
The city is considering removing a number of stops on Albert Street, Broad Street and Victoria Avenue.
A report from administration suggests these stops are too close together, impacting the reliability of when a bus arrives. If the changes are implemented, the report indicates riders would have a shorter trip getting to their respective destinations.
It could, however, also mean a longer walk for some riders to get to their stop, although the city doesn’t believe those walks would be excessive.
The city is also looking into removing a transit stop within the Wal-Mart and Sobey’s parking lot near Rochdale Boulevard in the north end because of traffic congestion.
