Rider Nation still has to wait a few months to see the Green and White take the field, but fans can already get a glimpse of the players hard at work.
Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant shared a video on Facebook of some of the work he’s been doing in the off-season.
Durant signed a new one-year deal with the team in the off-season. The renegotiated deal came after two seasons of injuries for the 33-year-old pivot.

The North Carolina native hurt his throwing elbow halfway through the 2014 season, only to return for half a game in the 2015 season which saw the quarterback tear his Achilles tendon.
Durant isn’t the only player getting ready for the season. New Rider Jeremy Kelley shared a picture showing the six-foot-six receiver towering over Durant.

The Riders’ first pre-season game is June 11, with the Green and White kicking off their season on June 30 at Mosaic Stadium. See the full schedule.
