A woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Regina Thursday.
Police said it happened around 9:45 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Victoria Avenue by Park Street.
Two vehicles were involved — one driven by a 27-year-old man and the other by a 33-year-old woman. The 34-year-old victim was hit while trying to cross Victoria Avenue. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the vehicles were not injured.
Regina police, with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Coroner, will continue to investigate. No one is facing any charges at the moment.
The name of the victim is not being released.
