A missing Saskatoon man with ties to street gangs has turned up safe.
Police issued a release early Tuesday saying 21-year-old Neilson Kaykum has been located, but they are still looking for 32-year-old Barry Heimbecker.
Kaykum and Heimbecker were spotted together on March 20 leaving a residence in the Fairhaven neighbourhood in a late model silver Chrysler 300.
A girlfriend of one of the men was in contact later that night via phone. She told police the men were walking in a field near Highway 7 in the Vanscoy area trying to get a ride.
The vehicle they were believed to be driving was located about 18 kilometres south of Delisle just off Highway 45 near Swanson.
Police are again asking landowners around Swanson and Delisle to check their fields for anything suspicious.
Police say both men are associated with street gangs in the city. Foul play has not been ruled out in the investigation.
