A Regina man is facing six charges in connection with a weapons-related incident in downtown Regina over the weekend.
Regina police were called to the 2300 block of Toronto Street around 4:50 p.m. Saturday for a report of a man who pointed a gun at two other men.
Police set up a perimeter around the apartment, and shortly after, the suspect was taken into custody.
Police said Terrance Larry Yuzicapi, 54, allegedly pointed a long-barrelled rifle at one man, then place what appeared to be a handgun at the victim’s temple. The second victim alleges Yuzicapi pointed what appeared to be a handgun at him as well.
Officers searched the residence and found five different pellet guns, at least one of which had a long barrel.
Yuzicapi is facing two charges of pointing a firearm, two charges of assault with a weapon, and two charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Yuzicapi will make his first court appearance at Provincial Court in Regina on May 17.
