A Saskatoon man is facing charges after crashing his minivan into an apartment building Friday morning.
Around 7 a.m., police received a call to the intersection of Acadia Drive and 14th Street East where a vehicle crashed into a building.
The driver fled on foot, but a concerned citizen followed him.
Eventually, security officers at Centre Mall took the man into custody.
A 20-year-old Saskatoon man will face a number of charges.
Saskatoon police, along with the collision analysis unit, are on the scene to investigate the incident.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area, or at least expect a few traffic delays, Friday.
As of 8:20 a.m., 14th Street northbound is closed at the intersection.
