A 37-year-old man from Meadow Lake is facing a long list of charges for internet luring, child porn, sexual exploitation of a person with a disability and sexual exploitation of a young person.
The man’s name is not being released in order to protect the identity of three victims ages 14 and 17.
On April 5, members of Meadow Lake RCMP began an internet child luring investigation involving a 14-year-old victim. The investigation revealed two other victims ages 14 and 17.
With help from the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, RCMP arrested the 37-year-old man who is facing multiple counts of eight different charges including: sexual exploitation of a person with a disability, luring minors over the internet for a sexual purpose, sexual assault, sexual exploitation of a young person, and possession of child pornography.
He appeared in Meadow Lake Provincial Court Monday.
On Friday the ICE Unit charged a 23-year-old man from Meadow Lake for sexual interference, internet luring along with making and distributing child porn. However, RCMP note these charges stem from separate incidents.
