The youth accused of carrying out a deadly shooting in La Loche was back in court Tuesday.
The 18-year-old appeared briefly in a La Loche courtroom via video before the case was set over until June 6.
The teen, who was a minor at the time of the alleged shootings, can’t be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The Crown has asked to have the youth punished as an adult if he’s convicted, however, a decision has yet to be made.
The youth is charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Teenage brothers, Dayne and Drayden Fontaine, were shot in their home before the alleged gunman opened fire in the community high school on Jan. 22.
Teachers Adam Wood and Marie Janvier were killed and seven others were injured before the gunman was arrested.
