The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
The staggered launch for campsite reservations at Saskatchewan’s provincial parks has been going well.
Mary-Anne Wihak, director with visitor experiences with Saskatchewan Parks, told the CJME Morning Show that the 10-day start has paid off.
“We’re feeling really good about the experience our customers have had,” Wihak said Thursday as the fourth day of reservations was about to begin.
Wihak says up to 40 per cent of their reservations can be made over the 10-day launch period.
“If there’s 40 per cent booked during launch time, that means there’s still the majority of campsites available right up until the time people may want to arrive at a park.”
Wihak admitted that Thursday was going to be one of their busier days as Duck Mountain, Good Spirit and Greenwater Lake are some of the more-popular parks.
The remaining launches are as follows:
- Friday, April 15: Crooked Lake, Moose Mountain
- Saturday, April 16: Cypress Hills
- Sunday, April 17: The Battlefords, Saskatchewan Landing
- Monday, April 18: Meadow Lake
- Tuesday, April 19: Bronson Forest, Chitek Lake, Lac La Ronge, Makwa Lake
- Wednesday, April 20: Candle Lake, Great Blue Heron, Narrow Hills
