A Saskatchewan couple killed in a plane crash in southeastern British Columbia has been identified.
The B.C. Coroners Service says 58-year-old Lynndon Delisle and 54-year-old wife, Heather, died when their small aircraft went down April 11 in the hills near Nakusp, B.C.
Lynndon Delisle was piloting the single engine Rockwell 112, and his wife was the sole passenger.
The couple had taken off from Kelowna a short time before the crash and were travelling to their home in Wynyard, 190 kilometres east of Saskatoon.
A commercial aircraft detected the emergency locator signal from the downed plane and alerted search teams, but both victims were found dead at the scene.
An investigation by the RCMP and B.C. Coroners Service is continuing.
