Saskatoon Fire Dept. warns BBQ users after $250K blaze

With the arrival of BBQ season, the Saskatoon Fire Department is reminding citizens to keep their grills away from exterior walls.
 
A home in Silverwood Heights went up in flames on Saturday, causing $250,000 in damage.
 
Fire crews arrived at the scene at 435 Peberdy Cresent at 5:30 p.m. to find flames at the back of the home extending into the attic.
 
They worked quickly to prevent the blaze from getting into the attic of the house next door.
