According to RCMP, a 43-year-oldĀ man was found dead on the front steps of a residence at Montreal Lake Cree Nation.
The man was found by community members Friday evening.
The victim’s name has not been released.
RCMP said the man lives on the First Nation, located an hour north of Prince Albert.
An autopsy was scheduled to take place Monday in Saskatoon.
The Prince Albert Forensic Identification Section and RCMP Major Crime Unit North continue to investigate.
