RCMP have issued a warning to parents after receiving a pair of reports involving a suspicious man talking to children.
The most recent incident took place in North Battleford around 8 p.m. Monday.
Police said a 9-year-old boy was approached by a man driving a white 15-passenger van with cardboard in one rear window.
The man is described as older and of First Nations descent.
The information is being made public by police in hopes of learning more about the van.
On April 11, a similar incident was reported to RCMP in the Cando, Sask area.
The vehicle in that situation was reported as a white pick-up truck.
RCMP want to remind parents to talk to their children about the dangers of speaking with strangers, and to reinforce what to do if a situation occurs.
Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP Detachment at 306-446-1720 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
