Regina police have laid charges after a bomb threat that prompted the evacuation of a high school Monday.
The evacuation was done as a precaution after the threat was received at Winston Knoll Collegiate. Officers began investigating and found nothing suspicious in the school or surrounding area.
The investigation led to charges against a 15-year-old boy.
The teen, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces a charge of mischief over $5,000. He makes his first court appearance next month.
