1 dead in highway crash near Estevan

A woman has died after a collision with a semi-tractor near Estevan, Sask. Tuesday afternoon.

RCMP said officers attended the scene of crash, which involved the large vehicle and a passenger car, at the intersection of Highway 39 and Highway 47.

The woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man behind the wheel of the semi was taken to Estevan Hospital with unknown injuries. Both were the sole occupants of their vehicles.

RCMP said the collision is still under investigation and no further details are available at this time.
