One drug deal, two men and dozens of criminal charges to show for it.
Saskatoon police, along with RCMP, arrested two local men Tuesday afternoon after watching a drug deal take place inside a vehicle at a business on Avenue P and 11th Street West.
Police said a 43-year-old man was found to be in possession of $230 and a mobile phone.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old driver was found to be in possession of a baggie of cocaine, a baggie of methamphetamine and more than $1,400 cash.
That’s not all, either – inside the vehicle officers found an extra 62.94 grams of meth, 7.4 grams of cocaine and a slew of pills, including fentanyl.
Cash, a loaded handmade zip-gun, other weapons along with a digital scale and packaging were also seized.
Police said a subsequent search of a home on Churchill Drive found a sawed-off rifle, pellet guns and an “easily accessible” loaded SKS rifle and ammunition.
The 43-year-old man faces drug possession charges, while the 34-year-old man now faces 29 drug and weapon-related charges.
Both men are expected in Saskatoon Provincial Court Wednesday.
