The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
After a coroner’s investigation, RCMP have confirmed the human remains found last week in a rural area west of Prince Albert belong to Troy Napope.
The RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team (URT) had found the remains in a body of water on April 20. At the time investigators, said they believed the remains belonged to Napope.
This is the latest development in the long case of Napope’s disappearance and murder. He was last seen in Prince Albert on May 28, 2015. His car was found the same day having been burned.
The two men accused of murdering Napope, Braidy Vermette and Skylar Bird, have been arrested and charged.
Vermette was the focus of a high-profile escape from lawful custody. He was recaptured just outside Prince Albert on April 7.
