A person was taken to hospital after a collision early Thursday morning.
Around 2:10 a.m., Saskatoon fire crews responded to the call of a car colliding with a concrete barrier.
Officials said three apparatus were dispatched, including two engines and a rescue unit, to the scene on Idylwyld Drive north of 51st Street.
When crews arrived, they discovered the car had hit the concrete barricade hard enough to separate itself from its engine.
The only person in the car was taken to hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.
Fire crews cleaned up some debris and left the scene with the police, who remained for a number of hours to investigate.
