Police in Moose Jaw are looking for the man who touched a young girl inappropriately on Friday in public.
According to police, around 12:45 p.m. on Friday the girl, who is in elementary school, was walking on Hall Street West near St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. The girl was approached by the man and “touched inappropriately”.
A letter was sent home to Moose Jaw parents by the public and catholic school divisions regarding the event. It stated that the student screamed and ran off, as did the man.
The letter also said that supervision would be increased during recess and at the end of the day as a precaution.
Officers searched the neighbourhood, but couldn’t find the man.
The man is described as white, in his mid-20s, with brown spiky hair. We was wearing a white t-shirt, and police he was alone and on foot at the time.
