2 men sought for questioning in Regina hotel death investigation

Police are looking to speak to two men seen on surveillance video the night a woman died in a Regina hotel.

On Monday, the Regina Police Service released an image showing the two men in the lobby of the Delta Hotel. The photo was taken at 3:45 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2015.

Police said the two men are not considered suspects, but are wanted for questioning in the investigation into the death of Nadine Machiskinic.

Machiskinic died after falling 10 floors in the hotel laundry chute. She was found just after 4 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2015 and died from her injuries in the hospital two hours later.

Police are asking the men shown in the surveillance video to contact the police service through their website. 

Machiskinic’s family filed a statement of claim in January 2016 against the hotel chain, alleging the hotel was negligent in the design, maintenance and security monitoring around the laundry chute which poses a danger to the public.
