Saskatchewan is set for a day of scattered showers after heavy rains pelted the province Tuesday.
Over two days, Saskatoon received 20 millimetres, roughly three quarters of an inch, of rain; Regina was hit with 30 mm.
The soggy spot in the province, however, was Cypress Hills with 71 mm, or nearly three inches, of precipitation since Monday.
The system is now shifting into the northeast grain belt, with another 20 to 30 mm possible there Wednesday.
Environment Canada’s two-day precipitation totals for Saskatchewan as of Tuesday evening were as follows:
- Cypress Hills Park: 71 mm
- Rockglen: 40 mm
- Maple Creek: 36 mm
- Swift Current: 34 mm
- Val Marie: 33 mm
- Rosetown: 30 mm
- Moose Jaw: 26 mm
- Lucky Lake: 25 mm
- Outlook: 21 mm
- Assiniboia: 21mm
