Two people were sent to hospital after a head-on collision north of Humboldt Wednesday.
RCMP said a semi headed west and a SUV travelling east collided on Highway 368, close to Lake Lenore.
A 45-year-old woman, the driver of the SUV, is in hospital with what police describe as serious injuries; the 55-year-old man behind the wheel of the semi was also treated for minor injuries and released.
Both are from the Humboldt area.
RCMP said the highway was closed for a period of time while an investigation took place. A police collision reconstructionist attended the scene and an investigation is ongoing.
Officials said a large amount of wet snow or slush was on the highway at the time of the collision, but it has not been determined if this was a factor.
