Regina police have charged three young women in connection with a shooting outside the 7-11 on Dewdney Avenue last week.
Faith Marie Goforth, 18, is charged with attempted murder in a shooting that injured a 21-year-old man on Thursday, May 5. Deanna Marilyn McKay, 22, and Kelly Renee Stonechild, 22, are both facing charges as party to the offence for discharging a firearm with intent to injure.
Officers were called to the hospital after a 21-year-old man went to the Emergency Room with a gunshot wound. He reported that he was outside a business on Dewdney Avenue between Robinson Street and Retallack Street when someone in a parked vehicle shot him and drove away.
All three of the accused appeared in Provincial Court on Friday, May 13 at 9:30 a.m.
