Regina police are reminding people to make sure to lock up their garages and bikes.
There were nine garage break and enters reported to police during the week of May 3 to 10. Seven of those involves garages that were left unlocked or had the overhead door open.
Police say five of the break and enters happened in northwest Regina.
The city is also seeing an increase in bike thefts, including some stolen from garages. The police service advises people to use bike locks even if the bike is kept inside a garage or shed.
