Pieces of a vehicle along with what looked like garbage were spread out across Albert Street coming into north Regina on Saturday morning after a rollover.
According to police, the vehicle was heading into the city on Highway 11 around 7:20 a.m. The driver failed to make the curve to exit onto Albert Street, continuing off the road into the ditch and rolling down the embankment.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle – they were taken to hospital by EMS as a precaution.
The southbound lanes of Highway 6 were closed at Armour Road for a couple hours as police investigated and the scene was cleaned up. Traffic was re-directed down Armour Road to Pasqua Street.
On Saturday morning, police said charges were pending.
