Charges have been laid against three people after Regina police officers spotted a stolen vehicle early Monday morning.
Police say the vehicle was spotted around 12:40 a.m. by officers in an unmarked unit. The unit followed the stolen vehicle without sparking a chase.
The stolen vehicle was stopped on the 800 block of Victoria Avenue after it collided with a marked police SUV. Three people inside the stolen vehicle were taken into custody.
Jason Lee Bird, 28, of Regina is charged with possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a probation order.
Toni Lynn Toto, 22, of Southey is charged with possession of property obtained by crime, failing to comply with a probation order, and trying to flee from police.
Nygel Ryan Reid Shingoose, 22, of Regina is charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
