There’s a new name in Saskatoon and you’ll be seeing it all over downtown.
The Saskatoon Downtown Business Improvement District – known as The Partnership – announced Monday it’ll now be called Downtown Saskatoon.
The change comes with a new visual identity and branding to get people interested in the area.
“From its vibrant streets to river’s edge, Downtown Saskatoon offers an upscale urban experience unlike anywhere else in Saskatchewan,” said Brent Penner, executive director of Downtown Saskatoon, in a news release Monday.
“We wanted a brand as fresh, elevated and contemporary as the district itself.”
The area is home to Saskatoon landmarks the Delta Bessborough, Midtown Plaza and Saskatchewan’s preeminent art gallery Remai Modern.
All district street banners, signage and digital media now reflect the new brand, including its abbreviated name: DTNYXE.
