Elementary school students at Regina Catholic Schools will be getting a ride with a new bus company this fall.
On Monday, the Regina Catholic School Division announced a new partnership with LP3 Transportation Solutions. In a news release, the division said the new partnership will offer perks like “green” propane powered buses, GPS units and camera systems. According to the website, the Saskatoon-based charter transportation company also includes a sales division for buses.
Back in April, the division confirmed that it would not be renewing the contract with First Student Canada. The contract with the bus company expires at the end of the school year in June.
At the time, the school division said the decision to drop First Student was based on cost and would result in “significant savings”.
