An Alberta family fleeing from fire now has to deal with the loss of their few remaining belongings.
Police said two trucks belonging to a Fort McMurray couple were stolen in Saskatoon over the weekend.
Officials said sometime between 9 pm on May 14 and 6:30 a.m. May 15, the two vehicles were taken from a hotel parking lot in the 600 block of Cynthia Street.
The stolen trucks are described as a blue 2014 Ford F150 with Alberta license plate BND7795, and a grey 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 with Alberta license plate BKM0870.
Police said the couple has fled Fort McMurray due to the wildfires and had packed all their belongings into the trucks.
They stopped in Saskatoon on their way to Ontario.
