The man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for a stabbing outside the Saskatoon Fox and Hounds Pub and Brewery in April was arrested in Edmonton Thursday.
Miguel Gomez, 20, was wanted for second-degree murder.
Saskatoon police were called to the parking lot of the pub at Assiniboine Drive and Warman Road after a fight broke out around 2:30 a.m.
Two men, aged 18 and 22, were taken to hospital with stab wounds. The 22-year-old died a few hours later.
At the time police determined the suspect and victims didn’t know each other before the fight.
Gomez will see a Justice of the Peace in Edmonton before being transported to Saskatoon to face charges. A court date has not been set.
