A semi hauling pallets of snack chips rolled on Highway 1 near the Pinkie Road intersection on Saturday morning, ending up blocking traffic for hours.
RCMP said it happened around 10:30 in the morning – the semi overturned coming off of the overpass. Police noted high winds at the time.
Both eastbound lanes of the highway were being rerouted for a time. Both lanes were back open after 4 p.m.
