The westbound lanes of Highway 1 were blocked for several hours on Sunday morning after a crash near Balgonie.
Around 4:30 a.m. RCMP said a semi crashed with a small car about two kilometres west of Balgonie. Thankfully neither driver was hurt.
Traffic was slowed down for a while as officers investigated and cleaned up the scene. Within a few hours the lanes were back open.
