Human remains found near the town of Arelee have been identified.
They belong to 37-year-old Shane Perret of Saskatoon.
It was last Friday when his body was found near the town, which is just north of Perdue. Perret had been reported missing on Dec. 11, 2015.
Police aren’t releasing the cause of death, but say they are treating it as a murder.
RCMP are asking people living in the area to report anything suspicious they may have seen dating back to Perret’s disappearance.
