Cyclist sent to hospital after collision with city truck

Traffic is backed up on Idylwyld Drive south after a collision Wednesday morning.

Saskatoon police were called to the scene at Idylwyld Drive and 29th Street around 8:30 a.m.

Officials said a city truck collided with a man on a bicycle.

The cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance; the extent of his injuries is not known at this time.

Investigators, including a collision analyst, are on the scene.
