For most people, when the red and blue police lights turn on behind you that means it’s time to pull over, but that wasn’t the reaction from one person near Moose Jaw last week.
Around 7 p.m. an RCMP officer was on Highway 2 near Moose Jaw. The officer saw a blue mustang speeding and tried to pull it over, but instead of stopping the driver hit the gas and accelerated to speeds above 200 km/h.
The officer ended the chase for public safety reasons and the Mustang got away.
Now RCMP are searching for the car. It’s described as a dark blue 2012/13 Ford Mustang Boss 302, or similar model, with two silver stripes along the middle of the car’s sides. It was last seen heading into Moose Jaw.
