Two people have been charged in the wake of Saskatoon’s seventh homicide of 2016.
Saskatoon police announced earlier this week that they were holding 33-year-old Tyler Hurd and 52-year-old Tammy Poffley for questioning in the death of Cynthia Crampton, 55.
Crampton was found dead in her home on Galloway Road on June 3. At the time, police reported that they didn’t believe her death was a random incident.
On Tuesday, police charged Hurd with first-degree murder. Poffley was charged as an accessory.
Both made their first appearances Tuesday in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
