The third man wanted in a serious assault case from December has finally been arrested.
Just two days before Christmas, on Dec. 23 last year, RCMP said a group of men forced their way into a home on Arpad Avenue in Lestock.
The 56-year-old inside was robbed and beaten with a baseball bat. He was taken to hospital in Fort Qu’Appelle and treated for injuries described as not life-threatening.
On Friday, Desmond Lee Pambrun, 30, was arrested on the Muskowekwan First Nation. He was originally charged with aggravated assault, break and enter, robbery while armed, having his face covered, but after his arrest Pambrun is also being charged with resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
The other two accused in the home invasion were arrested at the beginning of April – Tyler Wayne Pambrun, 20, and Edward William Pelletier, 36.
