Saskatoon Police has a 16-year-old girl in custody after the city’s ninth homicide of the year.
Officers were called to a home in the 200 block of Waterloo Crescent Sunday morning to find an injured baby boy.
He was taken to Royal University Hospital where he later died from his injuries
The teen girl is not related to the infant.
The Saskatoon Police Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, along with the Chief Coroner’s office are actively investigating.
