Saskatchewan’s police services will be stepping up their enforcement in road work and construction zones in July.
Police will be on the lookout for drivers who are speeding through work zones, ignoring signage as well as other infractions.
According to SGI, 2014 saw more than 200 collisions in work zones in Saskatchewan. One person was killed and 48 were injured in these collisions. That year also saw over 800 people fined for speeding through work zones.
SGI is asking drivers to remember.
