Regina police have arrested and charged a man they believe is responsible for a number of recent break and enters, thefts, and mischief.
Ronald Joseph Sauer, 46, of Regina was arrested Tuesday afternoon. He’s facing 12 charges including mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
Police believe Sauer is responsible for breaking into businesses, shoplifting from stores, and stealing licence plates and vehicles.
The alleged incidents happened at various locations in Regina including the 1100 block of Victoria Avenue, 100 block North McDonald Street, 2000 block Prince of Wales Drive, and 3900 block East Quance Street. They took place between May 25 and July 5.
Sauer made his first court appearance at provincial court in Regina Wednesday afternoon.
