Transportation Safety Board investigators are en route to the scene of small plane crash in central Saskatchewan.
RCMP said the pilot of a light plane was found dead on the scene when emergency personnel responded to a crash one kilometre north of Hoey, Sask, near Wakaw, Wednesday evening.
Mounties identified the pilot as a 40-year-old man, but said the name of the deceased will not be released.
Last Friday, a 22-year-old man was killed after his plane crashed in a farmer’s field near Rocanville, Sask.
On July 1, two off-duty military men were killed when their small plane crashed in the Rural Municipality of Springfield near Winnipeg.
