A man and a woman are facing weapons charges after police were called to the 3700 block of East Cormorant Drive, west of Prince of Wales Drive Thursday night about somebody being assaulted with a weapon.
No one was hurt and the suspects had left before police arrived.
Later on that night police found the suspect vehicle and stopped it near 9th Avenue and Albert Street.
Police said they found a blunt weapon in the vehicle and charged two of the people who were in the vehicle.
Brazley Cody Buffalocalf , 26 has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.
Brandy Lee Benson, 32 is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and failing to comply with an undertaking.
Both made their first court appearance Friday afternoon.
