A tragic end to a search on Monday for a boy who might have drowned south of Estevan.
Divers found the body of the 12 year old who went under water around 2 p.m. Sunday. The RCMP Underwater Recovery Team was called in and did several dives late into Sunday night, but to no avail.
Around 10:30 Monday morning the boy’s body was found about 100 ft. off-shore near where he was last seen.
RCMP said the boy was swimming with someone else on the beach side of the Boundary Dam at Woodlawn Regional Park when he disappeared.
