After almost a week on the run, a teen who escaped from a youth correctional centre is back behind bars.
The teen was on leave with two custody workers from the North Battleford Youth Centre last Thursday for a funeral on the Red Pheasant First Nation – that’s when he escaped.
He was described as dangerous because of the crimes he’d committed, though the Ministry of Justice said it couldn’t elaborate on the charges.
The teen was arrested overnight Wednesday by RCMP.
