A man is in hospital, another in police custody after a stabbing overnight Wednesday.
Officers were called to a home in the 200 block of Avenue V South around 1:09 a.m.
A 52-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he is recovering from non-life-threatening stab and slash wounds to his arm and hand.
Offices used dogs to search for the suspect, who was found nearby and taken into custody.
Police said the attack was not random in nature as the victim and accused know each other.
The suspect has been charged with aggravated assault, four breaches of a conditional sentence order and mischief for breaking a window at the residence.
