Harvest is underway in some southern areas of the province according to the Saskatchewan governments most recent crop report.
The report said farmers are combining some winter cereal crops, along with lentils.
In the southeast farmers are combining winter wheat, fall rye and some pea crops.
Hay crops are doing well with about 70 percent bailed and 15 percent ready to be bailed.
69 percent of hay crops are rated as being in good shape, with 23 percent being fair and only two percent being poor.
Cropland top soil moisture is rated as 12 percent surplus, 81 percent adequate, six percent short, and one percent very short.
Hay land and pasture topsoil moisture is seven percent surplus, 83 percent adequate, nine percent short and one percent very short.
