A heavy police presence – including a tactical team, K9 unit and an armoured vehicle – surrounded a home on Avenue J South Thursday morning.
Saskatoon police said around 6:30 a.m. officers executed search warrants at two homes in the 300 block of Avenue J South in connection to stolen property.
A woman and two children were taken from one of the homes.
Police said a number of people ranging in age have been arrested, but no charges have been laid at this time.
Traffic was blocked on Avenue J South between 19th and 20th streets.
Officials said drugs were seized during the raid, along with stolen property including bicycles.
The investigation is ongoing.
