The annual event kicks off Aug. 5 through Aug. 7 in Victoria Park downtown.
“It is this huge labour of love and all the energy has been coming together for a long time and there is 600-700 people that have been working on this,” said Sandra Butel, CEO and Artistic Director of Regina Folk Fest. “It is pretty fantastic to see it all come together.
And the weather forecast is certainly shining on Regina Folk Fest with no rain and sunny and hot temperatures predicted.
There is still room for latecomers who want to enjoy the music last minute.
“You can got to our website reginafolkfestival.com or you can come down to the box office which is right in the centre of the park,” Butel explained.
