It is being used to shoot a promotional video for Tourism Saskatchewan.
During the closure there is no access to vehicle or pedestrian traffic and drivers are asked to use the Broadway Bridge instead.
The University Bridge was closed at 5.p.m. Sunday and expected to be back open by 9:30 p.m.
